Welcome To Our Site

This is an example store, designed to demonstrate an add to cart that does not have a bounce page or redraw of the page on adding to cart. The use of popups on the purchase pages, and a modified display of the cart summary, provides positive feedback. The popup display showing the cart summary includes a view cart and go to checkout link and will fade automatically after a preset time, this is set using the normal Actinic setting, the default is 5 seconds.

This cart summary popup is positioned to the current product so on large pages it appears in the current view. The alternative is to select the pointer pop up which causes the page to scroll to the top of the page and the pop up appears under the normal cart summary thus showing the cart summary. Both types of pop up display are shown here on different pages.

The colour of the pop ups can be selected in the Actinic layouts, each page can use a different colour if required or the whole site set to a single colour through the normal Actinic settings. see the different examples on these pages.

Note:
The new code works with layouts having only one 'Add to Cart' button for multiple products, as well as Single Product per page and Multiple products per page. Examples of all three types can be found on this site.

As it uses Actinics own form layout and shopping cart perl files it handles components and permutations as normal. The only modification to the perl files is the modification to ShoppingCart.pl to remove the bounce page as detailed in the Advanced user guide.

The Carousel below contains all the products on the site and can be used as a means of navigating to a specific product. This also uses the jQuery library and demonstrates the use of multiple plug ins working together in an Actinic setup.
